Kirk Olischefski

Kirk Olischefski has been involved with hockey as a player or coach for over 39 years.

As a player he played Jr Hockey in Abbotsford and won two division titles. He then went on to play Sr Hockey with the UBC Thunderbirds Alumni. After his playing career he quickly got into coaching where his passion for the game continues. Kirk has coached all levels of hockey from Atom AAA, Pee Wee AAA, Bantam AAA, Midget AAA,

BC U16, Yale U16 and currently Yale U18 Prep Hockey. He has had the fortune of having many great players cross his path and move onto to the College ranks and Pro Hockey and have current contracts in the NHL and AHL. Kirk has been in the Pet Industry for the past 20 yrs and currently owns a Pet Retail Chain in the Fraser Valley and with this business has built strong communication skills.

Kirk will transition well into his new role with Norton Sports through his knowledge from his past players needs as an Agent. Understanding players and families’ common goals are our priority. Helping players and their families reach those goals with great communication and teamwork. Joining Norton Sports was a great fit for Kirk as we are not out to be the largest Agency, but the best and most player focussed Agency. Having the ability to spend time with each player and their family is so important throughout the Athlete’s career.

Kirk resides in Abbotsford, BC with his wife Tracy, his son Kohen, and his daughter Kendall.
